Slow Down, You Move Too Fast – Part 2

After reading yesterday’s post, did you come up with anything that you were putting off by staying too busy? I know I can think of a couple.

Drs. Les and Leslie Parrot consider this a “secondary gain”: being busy gives us freedom to put off things that are pressing but that will take more time and energy than we feel we can give because of everything else that must be done.

If you identified at least one issue that has remained unresolved between you and your spouse, a coworker, a neighbor, or a family member, resolve today to make time to think through your part in it and schedule a time to meet with the other person to get the issue resolved.

The freedom you will gain from resolving this issue rather than expending more time and energy avoiding it will be well worth the effort.

Yours for the celebration of life,
