Look Before You Leap

In honor of the first Walk/Don’t Walk sign installed in New York City on Leap Day (February 29) 1952, I am taking a walk, taking the rest of the day off, and suggest you do the same.

Do something fun today.

If it’s snowing, have a snowball fight or make a snowman or snow angel with your wife and kids.

If it’s sunny, go for a walk or a bike ride with your husband.

If it’s rainy, call some friends and have a game night.

Start a Leap Year tradition and chronicle it every February 29 for the rest of your lives.

Whatever you do today, enjoy this day with those most important to you and tuck it away as a memory.
