I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow. (Jeremiah 31:13, NIV)
A couple of weekends ago we experienced an unusual snowstorm that kept me inside for the entire weekend. During those extended housebound hours, I found a number of blogs that have been added to my favorites.
Ann Voskamp is the keeper of a beautiful blog, holy experience, where she shares wisdom beyond her years and humbly allows us to come along.
On Mondays Ann invites us to join her in the Grace Community where she and fellow sojourners are on a trek to list their own One Thousand Gifts in order to “feel more joy, less stress, better health, more connected in your relationships, and more delight in your everyday life.”
Whether you are a blogger or not, through counting your own One Thousand Gifts it is Ann’s prayer and mine that you will draw closer to God and will continue this small change of counting your gifts as a stepping stone to the throne room of God.
