Unless you live under a rock or in some far away land where cupid has not yet visited, you know that today is Valentine’s Day. I know that most bloggers get into blogging because they have something to say, something that no one else can say quite as well or with quite as much feeling.
On this day, however, I know that there is nothing about love, relationships, or Valentine’s Day that someone else won’t be saying – and saying it with much more feeling – so my post today is the ultimate definition of love, given in I Corinthinans 13:4-8 (NIV).
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self‑seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.
Happy Valentine’s Day! May God’s true love be yours in your own life and in the lives of those you love.
Yours for the celebration of marriage,
Claudia

And the greatest love that was ever shown was when Jesus gave up His life for us!
